Read the screenshots or practice locally with Try it. No live application actions occur; no account or connection is required.
Narration uses an installed local device voice if available. Text is always available. Optional reviewed audio travels with the guide.
Quick start and offline help
- Choose Read and Next to follow instructions, or Try it to practice. Use the highlighted action or the matching step button; synthetic input values are shown explicitly. No real app is clicked or signed in.
- Use Tab and Enter/Space for buttons. Back and Restart revisit steps. After changing a step, focus moves to its heading. Instructions remain visible if device narration is unavailable.
- Review every screenshot, instruction and practice answer before sharing. Opaque masks hide chosen pixels only. They cannot remove secrets in other text or erase files already downloaded.
- If import fails, keep your current project and check supported version 1 or 2 JSON, embedded PNGs, 1–100 steps, 20 MB total and 4096-pixel images. External pictures, SVG and executable page content are rejected.
- For support, report browser/version and steps to reproduce. Use a small synthetic guide; inspect and remove private images/text before sharing. No automatic report or screenshot upload is performed.

Capture your own authorized browser screenshots
The optional local capture extension is in this source package's capture-extension folder. In Chrome or Edge's extensions page, enable Developer mode and Load unpacked for that folder. Invoke its toolbar action on an authorized HTTP(S) page, consent and Start, then deliberately capture each visible screen. Stop, review every picture, permanently mask private pixels and approve the JSON download. Open that JSON here to edit instructions and hotspots. No DOM, keystroke history or automatic recording is used. Closing the capture window discards unsaved pictures; explicit downloads remain on disk. See the packaged capture README for setup and limits.
Edit the selected step, move it, and adjust the highlighted rectangle. Coordinates are fractions of the screenshot (0–1). Save a project backup to continue editing later.
New guides start with one placeholder screen. Add your own authorized PNGs below. Duplicate copies the current screenshot, masks and reviewed audio; inspect each copy. At least one and at most 100 steps are allowed. Previously downloaded copies never change.
Unapplied fields are preserved when navigation is blocked. Apply edits or deliberately discard them before changing steps or modes. Local revisions identify snapshots; they do not merge competing copies.
These texts travel in the guide and need privacy review. Empty feedback uses the standard message. Hints do not complete a step. Steps continue in their listed order.
Replace this step's screenshot
Choose an authorized local PNG, at most 2.9 MB and 4096 pixels per side. Replacement keeps the instruction and action, but clears this step's masks and audio and resets its hotspot. Inspect the new picture and configure the hotspot again. No file name is stored; no picture is uploaded.
Optional offline audio for this step
Import an authorized local PCM WAV (16-bit, mono/stereo, 8–48 kHz), at most 2 MB and 120 seconds. No URLs or metadata chunks. Listen and compare every spoken word with the instruction before approval. Audio is embedded in both exports; check it for private information.
Privacy masks for this screen
Masks are opaque rectangles, permanently flattened into PNGs on export. Review every screenshot. Export excludes the underlying original; saved backups also contain only flattened images. No automatic secret detection.
